Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about feeding your dog real food.
General
What exactly is fresh dog food?
Fresh dog food is made from real, whole ingredients — like chicken, sweet potato, carrots, and brown rice — gently cooked and delivered fresh to your door. Unlike kibble, it's not ultra-processed and contains no artificial preservatives.
Is fresh food safe for my dog?
Absolutely. Our meals are formulated with guidance from veterinary nutritionists and made in an FSSAI-registered kitchen. We use the same quality ingredients you'd cook for yourself.
How do I transition my dog to fresh food?
We recommend a 7-day transition: mix 25% fresh food with 75% current food for the first 2 days, then 50/50, then 75/25, and finally 100% fresh. Most dogs take to it immediately because it smells and tastes like real food!
This seems expensive compared to kibble. Is it worth it?
Kibble is cheap because it's made from low-cost, ultra-processed ingredients. Fresh food costs more upfront, but many pet parents see reduced vet bills, fewer allergies, and happier dogs. Think of it as preventive healthcare for your pup.
How are the meals delivered?
Meals are delivered fresh in insulated packaging to maintain quality. We deliver across major Tier 1 cities including Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Pune, and Hyderabad.
Can I subscribe to a meal plan?
Yes! Our fresh meals are designed as a subscription — we'll send the right portions at regular intervals so you never run out. You can pause, modify, or cancel anytime.
What if my dog doesn't like it?
Most dogs love fresh food from the very first bowl! If your dog is a picky eater, that's actually one of the most common reasons pet parents switch to us. Real food is naturally more appealing than processed kibble.
Are the treats also healthy?
Yes — our treats are single-ingredient or minimal-ingredient, made from real chicken with no fillers, no added sugar, and no preservatives. They're functional treats you can feel good about giving daily.
I've never heard of this brand. How do I know I can trust you?
We're a young brand built by real dog parents — Malika (a trained chef) and Samir. We're FSSAI registered, our recipes are developed with veterinary nutritionist guidance, and we have a growing base of happy customers whose dogs are thriving.

Puppies & First-Time Pet Parents
Everything you need to know about starting your puppy on real, fresh food.
Can puppies eat fresh food?
Yes! Puppies can absolutely eat fresh food. In fact, starting puppies on fresh, whole-ingredient meals sets a strong nutritional foundation for their growth. Our meals are balanced to support developing puppies — but we recommend consulting your vet for breed-specific portion guidance.
At what age can I start feeding fresh meals?
Puppies can start transitioning to fresh food once they are fully weaned, typically around 6–8 weeks. Start slowly by mixing small amounts of fresh food with their current diet and increase gradually over 7–10 days.
How much should I feed my puppy?
Puppies generally need more food per kilogram of body weight than adult dogs because they're growing. We recommend feeding 4–6% of their body weight daily, split into 3–4 meals for puppies under 6 months, and 2–3 meals for puppies over 6 months. Your vet can help fine-tune portions.
Are your treats safe for puppies?
Our soft treats like the Chicken & Turmeric Training Bites are great for puppies over 12 weeks. Avoid harder chews until your puppy's adult teeth have come in (around 6–7 months). Always supervise treat time with young puppies.
I'm a first-time dog parent. Where do I start?
Welcome! We recommend starting with our Fresh Meals subscription — it takes the guesswork out of nutrition. Pair with soft training treats and a bone broth topper for hydration. Our team is always available on WhatsApp to help you build the right plan for your pup's age, breed, and size.
Is bone broth safe for puppies?
Yes, bone broth is safe and beneficial for puppies over 8 weeks. It's a great source of hydration, collagen, and amino acids that support growing joints and gut health. Start with small amounts (1–2 tablespoons) mixed into their food.
My puppy is a picky eater. Will fresh food help?
Picky eating in puppies is extremely common — and it's often because processed food doesn't smell or taste like real food. Fresh meals are naturally aromatic and flavourful, which makes them far more appealing. Most puppy parents tell us their pup ate every bite from the very first bowl.
Do you offer a puppy-specific meal plan?
We're working on dedicated puppy meal plans! In the meantime, our standard fresh meals work beautifully for puppies — just adjust portions based on age and weight. Reach out to us on WhatsApp and we'll help you build a custom plan.
